EAT HUMBLE PIE NAJIB!

Interesting observations:

1. Tun Mahathir has no longer the influence he yielded during his tenure as Malaysia's longest serving dictator;

2. No comment from Najib yet, in fact we only knew of the wins in the two bukits through the internet, RTM and TV3 (media dogs constantly licking BN's butthole) keeps focusing on the BN win in Batang Ai;

3. 13 independents, who thought they had a chance, lost pathetically. Look guys, Arumugam won because of Pakatan's supporters due to Saiful Izham's disqualification, that is all!;

4. The UMNO saboteurs (most likely Khir Toyo supporters) delivered what they promised during the UMNO elections. Congratulations boys!

5. Samy Vellu is busy packing his bags ready for a long holiday in Honolulu, it would seem that Vell Paari is going along too - he can kiss his MIC Presidency goodbye;

6. Ex Bukit Selambau ADUN Mr. Arumugam is jumping up and down in his Pagoda shirt and kain sarong!;

7. YB Manikumar is going to have to assist negotiating with the bankers who financed the independents' campaign. They (the candidates) may be sued and left bankrupt after the ass-whooping they received;

8. According to electoral 'experts': Pakatan's win in Bukit Selambau and Bukit Gantang is in no way a referendum on Najib's premiership; but the Batang Ai one surely is!

9. The ghost of Altantuyaa still remains! Eat humble pie Najib!

Latest from N25 Bukit Selambau

Nurul Izzah Anwar is scheduled to make a stop here at Yayasan Aman near Sungai Petani and Bedong at about 1800hrs today to visit the weekly Pasar Malam. Mr Manikumar, the candidate for PKR was seen here this noon together with YB Johari Abdul and was believed to go to a programme together.

The news here is that the HINDRAF support to PKR's Manikumar given by the exiled Chairman Mr. Waythamoorthy has seen an upsurge in the assistance given by the movement though 'the men in orange shirts' have yet to make their presence felt. A couple of independents have lost hope of riding on HINDRAF sentiments due to the HINDRAF press statement.

At Yayasan Aman here we can see AMK Melaka, Wanita Pusat, Serdang and yours truly from Batu keeping track of their next targets for merayu undi.

We can also see many flags, hastily erected BN billboards and other independents' posters all over the ground due to the bad weather.

Also, Kedah MB Dato' Seri Azizan Abdul Razak in a Ceramah in Pekan Bukit Selambau stated that the independents have no hope of ever winning the by-elections. He said that due to the disqualification of PKR Saiful Izham Ramli, the then independent candidate Arumugam, was assisted by the Pakatan Rakyat in order to oust BN from winning the seat. In no way does that mean that the people of Kedah have warmed up to independents.

We are anxiously awaiting news of the forthcoming 'BIG ANNOUNCEMENT' promised by Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim tonight. Rumours has it that the entire Kedah PPP is dismantled and a total of 6 divisions, 60 branches and 6000 members of PPP Kedah is set to join Kedah PKR; much to the chagrin of the sole female independent candidate Ms. G. Sarala - who was the Kedah PPP Wanita Head.

Will she withdraw and join PKR's Manikumar after the announcement? we will wait and see.

Kalai or Anwar's Wisdom

I am utterly disappointed with the response from Kalai and his gang. As if still in MIC, Kalai is still living in India. He is Indian, not Malaysian. As Raja Petra puts it mildly, Italians are from Italy, Chinese are from China, Indians are from India and Malaysian is from Malaysia.

I read with interest the supposed 'sacrifices' Kalai has made since he was 19 years old, how good he is with the grassroots, how he has established NGOs and all these samaritan thingymajigs, but what different is that than what is happening now to senor Ezam Mohd Noor? a sad and rejected persona who tries ever so hard (but alas in vain) to show that he has some value to UMNO by virtue of his past sacrifices?

What about the sacrifices made by others? by those who bled, cried, arrested, KILLED even, trying so hard to fight for a country that treats its citizens as equals? Who are you to think that you have contributed more than others? Kalai! have you forgotten that Malays voted for you? that the Chinese voted for you? climbed trees, pasted posters, delivered ceramah until their throats run dry? have you forgotten the sacrifices of these people - who is still steadfast under PKR and Pakatan Rakyat?

If Anwar were to have chosen you, would he then be 'Sivaji the Boss'? would he be the 'Messiah' or 'Gandhi' for the Indian community? have you forgotten how we in PKR and Pakatan are together blasted with chemicals in KLCC without knowing colour nor creed? how we marched together booing the police during Kugan's funeral procession?

What is wrong with having disappointments with the PKR top echelon? do you think that they are making correct moves all the time? they actually stink on quite a number of times but in the end they are still on track. Their objectives and modus operandi are still millions of miles better than those in the BN. Of course, they need to be often reminded of their promises to the rakyat. Remember, in BN, dissent is considered prejudicial to the national security of Malaysia.

We, PKR of the grassroots and the youth, have been disappointed many a time. We feel that a lot of injustices havebeen done by the leaders but they are nothing because our struggle is a long and arduous journey. Nobody is perfect and maybe Kalai, your chance will come again! just like the time you contested under the PKR banner on March 2008. Did PKR smear your name when you lost? did PKR claim you did not do your best which resulted in your loss? no.

The corruption charge against you (though you are presumed innocent) is a heavy baggage in any decision. Remember what happened to the LAKNAT Osman Jailu and Jamaluddin M Radzi? they were charged with corruption and it was severe enough for them to renounce their allegiance to PKR. Cut Anwar some slack - he is merely being careful!

We do not regard Hindraf as Indians in distress. We regard Hindraf as fellow Malaysians in distress who happen to be Indian. Please grow out of your sectarian and racist nonsense and throw your support to Pakatan, PKR and Anwar!

Makkal Sakthi at Bukit Selambau?

Sometimes it is vexing to understand the vanguards of Malaysia Law - the Royal Malaysian Police ("RMP"). They seem to be doubly worried and perplexed when a group of three persons or more are assembling. Even more so when the objectives of the assembly seem to be implicating the ruling government in certain 'misplaced' actions.

The actions by the RMP in blasting a congregation of Hindraf supporters this morning with water is nothing more than a justification to the Rakyat that the RMP is nothing but a big bully.

They seem to have nothing better to do, and giving warnings against 'illegal assembly' against the very people they are sworn to protect suggests that the RMP is now awaiting clearance to join the Barisan Nasional as the latest component party. Where were you when the 'Celaka's from UMNO Youth were assaulting Pakatan MPs?

My friends in Hindraf, remember what Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim said in response to whether he is showing too much 'face' to the Chinese and Indians: 'The children of the Malays are my children, so are the children of the Chinese and Indians - they are my children'.

When the candidacy for Bukit Selambau is announced, I pretty damn well hope that a person representing Hindraf is selected. My boys and I will be sure to be there, helping the cause in whatever means we can.

I strongly suggest that we allow a candidate from Hindraf to contest in Bukit Selambau. Let the voice of MAKKAL SAKTI rings through the hills of Kedah and bring justice to Uthayakumar!
