KEADILAN Old Guards: We will return!

For a person who has no political allegiances before joining the NGO ADIL, Parti keADILan Nasional and its current version Parti Keadilan Rakyat (KEADILAN), I wish to state something on behalf of the 'KEADILAN Old Guards'; namely those who have been with the REFORMASI movement in the late 90's, and has since quietened down or maneouvered themselves secretly behind the scenes.

We are die-hard supporters of the party and no matter what happens, we will be there when the Party needs us the most.

Some segments may not be happy with our disappearance, but like it or not, we have our reasons. We have dissatisfactions that were aired but unfortunately were also shot down.

We do not know and do not like political maneouverings to get high positions, nor do we seek gratifications from the Party, in fact we have given our LIFE, blood, tears and sweat for the cause; but what we have in our hearts is something that no new member of PKR has, the sincere and burning desire for change and the total and utter annihilation of Barisan Nasional and UMNO.

Since the days of Universiti Bangsar Utama, REFORMIS, and the weekly demonstrations that we have held. Since the days when GAMIS, KARISMA and PKPIM were solidly behind the REFORMASI movement, we have held our ground. Even when the Party was nearly decimated in 2004, we have held our ground. Even when so-called Party 'Leaders' have stood up and left, we have held our ground.

We tell you now that sooner rather than later the Old Guards will definitely return. Our loyalty has never wavered, and when these new cartoons who has joined the Party purely based on material wealth makes their move, we will be there to stop them.

You can count on that!!

Yes..the Old Guards must return, as we are sick of these new people who are just so materialistic and wants personal gains!

What we really need is REFORMASI movement. The '98 movement. The real Reformasi!

This Reformasi movement is actually even bigger than everything else..bigger than Pakatan Rakyat..

ABIM, JIM, GAMIS, Karisma, PKPIM and others have to return!

Bro Amir,
I'm one of ppl in the movement in 98. I was then UKM student. If PKR still PKR then i would still be there to fight for the party.

But what i sense is the party already lost focus. It starts when PKR accepted all those rejected ppl from UMNO & other component party.

We all know why they join the ship. In fact i can bet you most of the guys will candidates contesting on next PRU-13.

for me i respect the Old Guards & if the Old Guards still become the main backbody of PKR then i dont think PKR will be such as mess like now..
