Transformers by Michael Bay: An Insult to Autobots and Decepticreeps Everywhere!

Using this article to sway away - momentarily - from the primary content of this blog - which is Malaysian Politics - I wish to bombard a long and overdue attack to Michael Bay, the Director of the Transformers Movie who have maimed and destroyed the gist, soul, identity and core of the legions of Autobots and Decepticreeps everywhere, by the following details:

1. Making the Cybertronians susceptible to human weaponry. I dunno whether Michael is trying to motivate the US troops or the US weapons industry, but the puny weapons of the humans can never dent the cybertronians, never mind killing them!

2. Megatron can NEVER defeat Optimus Prime, especially a fighting mad Optimus Prime! This movie lets go of ANY affiliations to history and Michael vehemently refuses to at least show that little bit of historical relevance that is dear to many of us. Its either my way or the highway eh Michael?

3. Please make Megatron smaller. I forgive your bloody ignorance of the Transformers Phenomenon but please at least do SOME homework.

4. Please revert to the original cybertronian weapons specifications. For everyone's info since A.U.N.T.Y. reconfigured their alter-egos to earthen vehicles and artifacts, their weapons remain the same. 90% of the weapons are not projectile based, and are superior to bullets and explosive projectiles that are more suited to earthen weaponry. For example where the hell if Starscream's famous null ray?!!

5. OPTIMUS PRIME NEVER OPENS HIS VISOR!! This is also the case for Judge Dredd - where Sly Stallone opened his helmet just so people may look at his distorted face. Remember Jim Carrey and the Grinch? identity never posed a problem when faced with his acting!

6. The Allspark - another of Michael Bay's antic to create an identity for himself. We already have the Creation Matrix! Why don't you use this? why are you so bloody and pathetically stubborn!

Alas for all my above comments the people and Hasbro, Transformers and Michael Bay himself are already preparing to roll-out Transformers 2 - where Galvatron is introduced. I expect more diversions and detours from the original storyline. We can't do much can we because we are merely a bunch of writers, and what's more I am confirmed to see that sequel - but Michael can do well to read and make adjustments to serve justice for us - a gang of Autobots and Decepticreeps that have for so long to see their favourite cybertronians, once again grace the silver screen.

Autobots, roll out!
